100,000+ Rally for Obama in Denver

…and I was one of them. :)  Go DENVER! The turnout was his biggest yet. 100,000+ people in once place was pretty crazy. Unfortunately, since the crowd was so big I didn’t even get to see him, but the sound system was huge, so I heard his address just fine.  The line to get into the park where he was speaking was about 2 miles long. I’d never seen anything like it before. Below are some pictures that I took of the event.

We are seriously contemplating dealing with the melee of the inauguration just to be able to say we witnessed history. 😉

If you can, you must try to make it to the inauguration—but only if this election proves to be historical.

When I was a young girl I had an Aunt who would cover me for anything I wanted to do. She told my parents that I was spending the a 3-day weekend with her and on Friday, January 20, 1961, when I was only 16 years old, 6 of us cramped into an old station wagon and drove to DC to see John Kennedy inaugurated. It was awesome!

Wow. That sounds like quite an adventure. Now I wish we still lived in New York; one thing I regret is not taking a trip to DC while we lived out there.
