Bitchin’ Betty didn’t let us down!

…ya know, the GPS voice ‘guide’ that tells you which direction you need to turn and how far until you need to correct your heading. 😉 (and who also doesn’t shut up, which is why I lovingly named her after the F-16 vocal warning system.)  We relied solely on our trusty GPS system to get us from Point A (New York City) to Point B (Longmont, CO) and it worked flawlessly–we made it everywhere we were trying to go without a hitch. I highly recommend getting one, especially for long road trips!
And so we finally made it! :)  We’re in Longmont right now; unfortunately, our house won’t be ready for us to move in to until Thursday, so it’s another night at the Super 8 for us. 🙁
Our vacation is over.  It seemed to go by pretty quickly. Tomorrow I have to go back to work; but this time I’ll be working from my new office in Boulder, CO. (yay!) Now that we’ve moved we are tasked with finding a car we can afford, exploring the wonders of Colorado and surrounding areas, and populating and decorating our new house. More pictures of today’s trip coming soon (and more house pictures and perhaps a few of our new land of residence.)

It’s too bad you guys didn’t come through Sacramento; I’m selling Sadie Subaru. She’d be affordable, reliable, and subaruable. 😉

Ah well. Hope you can find a good one out there. 😀

    “populating and decorating”

I understand the decorating part; that means furniture and curtains and seats and stuff.

Wanna tell us something about the populating part? Huh? Is the population gonna be increasing? Huh? Comon! OUT WITH IT!

hehe, i think he meant ‘populating’ as in living in it, since we’re just at a hotel now. 😀

Kristine and I signed up for the Telenav (http://www.telenav.com/) service a few weeks ago. It loads onto the cell phone, and I used it all the way from California to Texas. It worked great! Bitchin’ Betty even says street names; I was impressed.
