i just have to say something about this super cool site i’ve started using lately. it’s called fresh direct and it basically makes it so i can go grocery shopping online, and then choose the time that i want it delivered. yesterday was the second time i’ve used it, and so far it’s been great (except for delivering it too early, but oh well :)) the prices are fair and now i don’t have to lug around the granny basket!
here’s jabba helping eric unload the boxes yesterday (i was at work):

Candice and I recently discovered Fresh Direct. It’s basically an online grocery store that delivers food to your house for a small fee (like $4 or $5.) Sure beats lugging food on foot from the supermarket down the street. We’ve ordered from them two times now–Candice really seems to like it. They just roll up in a big truck at the time you schedule on their web site.
Everything comes packaged in cardboard boxes:

I can’t say much for their packing techniques, though–this whole ‘veggie’ box had only a bag of baby carrots, 2 cucumbers, and a head of broccoli:

Even Jabba decided to help unpack the food:

Oh cool! That is my kind of shopping! I’m going to check it out! But maybe they don’t have it in Paradise, i’ll find out.
