leia’s people declined to comment on the incident, but sources close to her indicate that she suffers from a syndrome known only as “crazy chewing on the stair corner” which results in severe injury to the said carpet on the stair corner.
one eye witness, going by the name “J”, recalled one episode, “she just went nuts on the corner, chewing it like it was made of beef jerky. i’ve never seen anything like it.”
this is not leia’s first attempt. she has been reprimanded by authorities on several occasions, but vehemently denies all wrong doing, even going so far as to say “i’m so cute, would i do that?” and is said to wag her tail profusely.
the case remains open and is set to go to trial next week.
