yeah! pictures!

okey dokey…here are some misc pictures from the last couple days with corresponding comments, of course…

park arch

this is just a plain ‘ol picture of one of the many arches in central park.

lennon

here we have the lennon memorial located at strawberry fields in central park. the atmosphere was really peaceful there. people seemed to talk in hushed, respectful tones and there were groups of people sitting on the grass playing the guitar and singing. it was really cool. 🙂

fountain

this is a fountain in central park (obviously) and you can rent row boats from the boathouse and row on the lake. again, a really pretty, surprisingly quiet place.

times square

since i’ve gotten a request for a street pic, here it is…your generic times square picture. 🙂 i’ll do some local pictures sometime later.

spam

this is a very fuzzy picture of the outside of the theatre where we saw ‘spamalot’ tonight. it was pretty darn tootin’ funny. last night we saw ‘avenue q’ which was extremely darn tootin’ funny. 🙂 two different types of funny, though so you can’t really compare.

well, that’s all for now kids…have yourselves a safe and happy evening.

oh, i also saw ’40 year-old virgin’ today, thanks to a very unpatriotic and terrorist-supporting act on the part of eric’s cousin. 😉 those darn pirates, how will the poor movie studios be able to support their families now?

I love the pictures. The only time I went to NYC I never saw anything but the statute of Liberty, the world trade center, and a greyline tour of parts of the city I would not want to go to. This looks exciting. But you know what I always say “Be Careful!”…Ha…thought you had got away from that. No chance. Love you both. Remember, Eric, I finally said it is the equivilent of
Vaya con Dios” and I just had to say it. Mammy

Thanks for posting the pics! Ruby went and saw the 40 yr.old virgin and said once she got past the language it was really funny. I told her it couldn’t be any worse than “me” on a “bad” day! haha

The John Lennon park sounds reallly neat:) Have a great weekend. And I liked th generic street pic, all types of people headed in all kinds of directions!
