Hot August Nights (with rain and thunder)
The heat index here right now (7:30pm) is about 105 degrees (temp+humidity)–but the funny thing is, there’s a thunderstorm outside. Rain, thunder & lightening, the whole bit. Candice and I were going to go downtown today, but we decided to stay in and ordered ourselves a pizza for dinner. We haven’t had much time to eat out or go do many fun things since we’ve been here because we’ve been trying to put our house together and looking for work. Things are coming along, but we’re still waiting for a couple of our boxes to come from California. Right now for entertainment we watch DVDs on the laptop. We’re looking to buy a small TV from someone on craigslist pretty soon so we can watch some shows. ::KA-KRRAAASH–BBOOOOOMMM:: Sorry, that was just the thunder outside. This weather is so bizarre.

I betcha Jabba gets scared during the storms! Mickey would! he gets uppy about the rooster crowing! hehe

actually, jabba hardly seems to notice it. even when it’s right overhead. poor mickey. 🙂

Do you need a whatever it is called to protect your computer from the thunder? I forget what they are called. Shannon and I had dinner together last night and a movie. Was…nice. I am glad you are getting things put together. Love you both.
