bleh! i hate hot weather. 😛

so this weekend was our first trip anywhere with arthur! 🙂 and wouldn’t you know it was to target…hehe he was such a good baby! i packed him around in the baby bjorn so he just slept the whole time.

now that it’s warm out, the pups pretend to have to go potty just so they can go sunbathe.

and see that bare spot on the ‘patio’? that’s where we’re going to plant some flowers…soon….i hope.

now that eric got wordpress working again i can put up a few cute pics.

last week was arthur’s 2 month doctor’s appointment, which included his first round of vaccine cocktails. i felt so bad for the little guy, but he calmed down as soon as i gave him some snuggles and a bottle of milk there in the office. oh, and he weighs around 11 pounds now, too. 🙂

my mother’s day was nice. i started out the day by mowing the lawn, then making orange creamsicle vegan cuppers for eric to take to work. i ate one, too. 🙂 we didn’t go out to eat or anything for several reasons. first, i can’t eat very many things right now….should i list them? sure….broccoli, beans, garlic, onions, whole wheat stuff (flour included), tomato products, citrus products, and berries. all of those, by experience, make the little fellow very unhappy. plus he doesn’t like his carseat when it’s not moving. but i had gotten my very nice mother’s day present the day before. a little letter “a” necklace. 🙂

and thank you to those who called to wish me a happy first mother’s day, or who sent their well-wishes.

anyhoo…not much has been goin’ on since. besides finding the best salad dressing/veggie dip in the whole wide world! what is it, you ask? well..it’s annie’s naturals woodstock dressing, of course! 😀

ooh, and i think i get to go see a movie this weekend, while eric goes and sees one next weekend. i’m eagerly anticipating ‘the chronicles of narnia: prince caspian’, while eric is excited about ‘indiana jones’. but don’t think i would miss ‘sex and the city’! i’m counting down the days. honestly. so. fraking. excited. 😀 i may even drive to boulder to see it in the ‘good’ theater. 🙂

Hello everybody. I know it’s been a while since we posted, but things are always pretty busy around here. I took today off from work, so it’s nice to have a little free time. After 2 trips to the airport, we have Great-grandma Nereida, Aunt Chantel, and Cousin Ashton out here in Colorado visiting us. things here are going pretty well. we’re anticipating some more company this coming week, which means i’m going to have to pick up all the stuff that has accumulated throughout the house, and….::gasp::….clean the bathrooms! i hope i don’t fall over while i’m doing it!

one thing i’d like to mention, man, if i had only made another gift registry months ago at supper solutions! both eric and i are so tired at the end of the day to make anything for dinner, hence lots of tv dinners and cold cereal. hehe

oh, i DID conquer one feat today…i figured out how to take a shower! see…before i would take a shower every other day (gross i know, but i thought that was pretty nice ;)) when eric would get home, or i if i happened to be up at 5 a.m. because our little fellow doesn’t like to be laid down on a flat, still surface for naps. problem solved! yesterday i bought a little portable swing that sits on the floor and i plopped that down in the bathroom and viola! a happy, napping baby means a clean smelling candice. 😀

so yup, we haven’t done anything lately but enjoy our little fellow! he’s growing so fast already! our sleepy little 6 pound newborn has been replaced by a wide-eyed 9 pound baby! 😀 and without getting all mushy gushy on you, i’ll just say that he’s the best thing we’ve ever done or ever will do! 😀 such a little cutie!
